Hello Kathy,
Thanks for the kind and thoughtful comment. F&W has really been there from the early days when the conversation was taboo. It feels as if "work life concerns" were once considered a "women's or mommy issue" and therefore swept under the rug for fear it would make women seem less equip to handle the corporate chaos. Now - if you check out the latest report from F&W, it's evolved into a genderless issue with few financial or defined career boundaries. Everyone (male/female) is on the quest for better work life integration unless you're a bazillionaire with no kids.

Judy, This is great stuff and so pleased (and amazed) that is has been 20 year already. The women who told their stories on HotMommasProject.org speak often, and deeply, about balance. It involves so many things - emotional, logistical...the works. However, it really is one of those things that's "what life is really about" which is why the conversation continues. According to a SHRM / BCG study, work-life balance is a key future concern globally for every region except the Pacific. I'm sure The Families & Work Institute will continue to lead the way in shedding light on this important issue.
