Emmy award-winning broadcast journalist Judy Martin, has emerged as a reporter and public speaker who gives an objective voice to social concerns, business news and the delicate balance of living and working with purpose, in an era of great uncertainty and chaos.
Judy is a national radio contributor whose work has been heard on NPR News, The World, BBC Radio 3, The World Vision Report, CNBC Business Radio and The Marketplace Morning Report, where she spent nearly four years in the New York City Bureau. Judy also continues her affiliation with the News 12 Television Networks as an anchor/reporter.
Judy has covered some of the greatest tragedies in recent history, including: the 9/11 Terror Attacks, Hurricane Andrew, and the 1989 Avianca Plane Crash. But while Judy has reported on the agony of great loss, she has also witnessed the deep compassion of the human spirit as a volunteer who works with the dying. In the aftermath of September 11th, she reported by day, and worked with the children impacted by the terror attacks by night. Judy is a certified Hospice volunteer and has been a student of meditation for nearly three decades.
Judy’s monthly newsletter, WorkLife Nation features individuals, businesses, and the latest innovative programs to help readers integrate life and work concerns while thriving on the threshold of change.
Along with the news headlines, and her thirst for meditation – Judy’s interested in anything that will spark heated educated debate on social awareness, consciousness, and the value of human capital in business.
